Spotted (and admired) recently: delicate handmade silver spoons from Helena Emmans, a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art. Fifteen years ago, she moved to the Isle of Skye, where she lives with her partner and their two children. “My spoons are characterized by subtle details and organic shapes, and have a delicate handmade quality with a matte finish. They’re intended to be decorative sculptural hand-crafted objects (not utilitarian objects).” The spoons are available directly from Emmans’ website; select pieces are also available from Primary Essentials in Brooklyn and Mouki Mou in London.
