We’re longtime admirers of the work of Natalie Page, a Philadelphia-based artist who was inspired by “an introductory ceramics class in college, that sparked a life-long passion for the medium,” as she says. So we took note when we learned she recently released a new range of pendant lights in rustic earth tones as part of her much-admired (and much copied) Funnel line.
The Funnel Light Collection features handcrafted ceramic pendants, each created using slab construction in a range of sizes and shapes, all centered on a conical design. The lights are available in several sizes and range in price from $1,730 to $4,050; they’re available with an antique brass canopy or a ceramic canopy and with patinated oil rubbed brass hardware.

Above: The new line includes a range of earth-tone pendants; above, L to R: Mud, Pepper, Sand, and Salt. Above: The Mud colorway is a dark brown clay body that is unglazed on the outside and glazed on the inside with a light application of white glaze. Above: The Pepper colorway is a semi-matte black glaze with a hint of brown over the white stoneware clay; it’s glazed on the inside and outside with a reveal of unglazed stoneware clay at the rims. Above: The Sand colorway is a white stoneware clay body that is unglazed on the outside but glazed on the inside with a clear gloss glaze. Above: The Terracotta colorway is the natural clay in its raw unglazed state and may change color over time just like the classic garden clay pot. About: The Salt colorway is the classic white gloss glaze that NPage Studio is known for.
