A New Handmade Lighting Line from Portland, OR, Studio Notary Ceramics

New from West Coast potter Sarah VanRaden of Notary Ceramics: a handmade line of table lamps. “This is something I’ve been working on for the better part of a year, and we are finally ready to send it out into the world,” Sarah says. “It’s been a serious labor of love.”

“Our aim was to create a lighting collection that’s both timeless and modern, and just a bit rustic. I hand throw each lamp base on a potters wheel in our Portland, OR, studio; each lamp is then wired by a certified electrician using high-quality components. We had the pleated, coated linen shades made for us in Norway and shipped over.”
