Currently admiring: a new line of simple mesh metal light shades from LA architects Commune. Here’s a look:

Above: The Commune Light Socket Shades work well with the firm’s signature Commune Light Sockets. The shades are made from spun and powder-coated perforated steel with brass hardware detailing, and clip onto any G16 bulb found at your local hardware store.
