Last week I was lucky enough to drop in on North Modern, the upstart Copenhagen design fair (more highlights later during our September Fall Trends issue). One of my favorite finds? Trimm Copenhagen, founded by sailmaker Tim Nielsen and designer Rikke Gjorlund in 2010, offering inspired goods for the home made with sailcloth and nautical rope and hardware. Here are some favorites.
Above: The Trimm Laundry Basket and the Trimm Wood Basket are both €74 ($83) from Connox.
Above: A set of two wall-mounted Diamond Knot Hooks made of heavy cotton rope (available in natural, white, and black) is €67 ($75); the Vertical Rope Rack is €133 ($148).
Above: The Trimm Hang Desk can fold flat against a wall when not in use.
Above: The Trimm Rocket Beanbag Bed is €668 ($744) from Connox.
Above: The Vertical Rope Rack, with six S hooks, is available in black, natural, and white rope for €133 ($148).
