Montana of Denmark solves household storage challenges by enabling its customers to design their own furniture. The company was founded in 1982 by Peter J. Lassen, a naval officer turned furniture designer who launched his career by working with his father-in-law, Fritz Hansen, and a who’s who of Scandinavian design greats, Arne Jacobsen and Verner Panton included.
Now run by Lassen’s youngest son (Lassen himself is still involved), Montana continues to tackle unexplored corners of the home; it recently launched new lines for the entry and bath. As always, its approach is simple and practical, offering modular, cube-shaped furniture and accompanying accessories that can be combined in countless ways—and ordered in 42 colors. Here are some of the possibilities we’ve been admiring.

Montana’s bathroom storage units come in 10 sizes and its wash basin units in 12 sizes. They can be wall-mounted or freestanding. There are also nine square and rectangular mirror sizes for the bath and elsewhere, and the frames come in 42 colors.
