Designed by Singapore-based architect Albano Daminato for the Amankora Lodge in Bhutan, this wood-burning stove is based on a traditional Bhutanese bukhari, altering the conventional round drum form to a more rectilinear one. Daminato used blackened sheet metal for the body and flue and natural pebbles for the stove top.
