Colorful Pillows Inspired by Portuguese Tiles from Lusitano Studio

Carlos João Parreira, an expat Portuguese living in Brooklyn, launched Lusitano Studio in 2017 “with a mission to create a brand that ethically supports Portuguese artisans and helps to keep craft strong,” he says. “Working with third generation seamstresses who specialize in a Portuguese version of patchwork, each pillow requires hours of effort in hand-cutting panels to craft each pattern.” Here’s a look:

N.B. Lositano Studio also offers an array of household essentials, from handmade ceramics to linen bedding and handwoven table linens.
