Danish company Fritz Hansen recently acquired the license to manufacture the work of German silversmith Christian Dell; the collection is available for pre-order through Fritz Hansen at 22 Wooster Street in SoHo (the US flagship store). The iconic Kaiser Idell series, designed by Dell in the 1930s, is a classic example of Bauhaus style, and is available in a table, floor, pendant, or wall version. Dell, who worked as a foreman at the metal workshop in Bauhaus, is considered one of the key figures in shaping the Bauhaus aesthetic.
