Lighting: Elli Lighting by Brent Markee

Industrial designer Brent Markee made a name for himself in the mid-eighties when he created a simple paper light with wire legs that became Seattle-based Resolute's first product. The Elli Lighting line is Markee's latest work and is a lesson in restraint and simplicity; the heavy-gauge solid brass and bronze fixtures feature a system of interchangeable parts of different shade sizes that fit all types of reflector lamps and are hand finished in oil rubbed bronze black.
