Kitchen of the Week: A Plain English Kitchen Palette Inspired by a Historic Tapestry

This just in from our friends at Plain English kitchens: “Announcing our new Color Collection No. 5, with a palette reflecting verdure tapestries faded in time. This new collection comprises eight evocative paint shades created and curated by art director Sue Skeen with co-founder and creative director Katie Fontana.

“We were looking for a completely new color story,” Katie says, “and Sue shared some wonderful old tapestries. We loved the idea of working with these worn colors to weave together our own story. Developed uniquely for the series of interlinked rooms in our Pimlico showroom, the colors evolve on a harmonious journey, echoing the shades you see along the way during a meandering walk in nature—mossy tracks, bosky meadows, high-walled courtyards, gloss painted passages, curtained doorways, and laundry lines.”

Here’s a look at the Pimlico showroom:
