Laura Coppen, a Hong Kong–based textile designer, took a trip to Kenya in 2013 to participate in a design development project and fell in love with the Rift Valley region. A year later, working with local artisans, Coppen launched Kahoko, a company offering a line of sustainably made, handwoven graphic wool rugs, cushions, and more. Here are some favorites.
