Pane e Acqua, a slightly madcap restaurant in the Magenta district of Milan, was designed by famed furniture impresario Paola Navone for the equally famous shopkeeper Rossana Orlandi, whose retail store, Spazio Rossana Orlandi, is down the street. The creative curatorial energy Orlandi brings to her design store is fully evident in the restaurant, which is a perpetual work in progress. Orlandi sourced all the furnishings and fittings from her store; every single piece is available for purchase, including the cutlery.
