Clarisse Demory of Ensuite designed the interiors of the latest outpost of Nanashi in the northern Marais district of Paris (the original is in the 10th arrondissement, near Gare de l'Est); a venture of Lionel Bensemoun with cuisine by Kaori Endo, a former Rose Bakery chef (she also wrote Une Japonaise a Paris). Demory outfitted the spare interiors with 1980s school chairs, recycled Habitat table tops on vintage legs, and custom lights she spray painted with matte "graffiti artist" paint.
