When British interiors sensation Ilse Crawford was called on to revamp the interiors of the Olde Bell Inn, an Elizabethan-era coaching inn located in the Berkshire village of Hurley, she sourced most of the furnishings and accoutrements from her countrymen: handwoven rush matting from Felicity Irons’ Rush Matters, furniture from Matthew Hilton, rocking chairs from Ercol, and lighting from Bestlite (she added a dash of red to the neutral color scheme with retro-looking Roberts Revival radios).
