Remodelista Reconnaissance: Good-Looking Storage Jars in a Designer’s Pantry

No surprise: We’re always in pursuit of good-looking jars for decanting bulk dry goods. So of course our interest was sparked by A Graphic Designer’s Redone Victorian, Where the Pantry Takes Center Stage: What does Martina Casonato, the homeowner and designer behind @thevenetianpantry, use in her own larder—the space she calls “the pantry of her dreams”?

Above: “Nothing gives me quite the same sense of peace and fulfillment as the sight of a well-stocked pantry,” says Martina, who prioritized the pantry above all else in the remodel of her London townhouse. “It is truly my pride and joy and my happy place.” Behind fluted glass doors, the shelves are stocked with uniform and good-looking glass storage jars—no disposables in sight.

Above: “I actually use a mishmash of different containers,” Martina emailed us when we asked about her storage jar sources. “Most of them are from good old Ikea or from Tala. But I also love to recycle supermarket jars or my mum’s jam jars!
