Furniture: Superfolk in Dublin

March 22, 2011

Based in Dublin, Ireland, Superfolk is led by Irish designer Gearóid Muldowney, who creates products that "are a tribute to Ireland’s heritage of vernacular object making, playfully referencing a way of life rooted in the land, its animals, and its weather." We especially like Muldowney's dining/worktable made of local and sustainably sourced ash and oak ("a large, tough work area raised up on four simple legs") and his versatile set of stools. For further information, contact Superfolk.
