Portland-based furniture designer Julian Paul returned to his hometown after graduating from RISD a couple of years ago, enlisting two of his RISD friends—Henry Peake and Blake Hudson—to join him out West. The trio (they work in wood, ceramics, and glass) has formed a design collective and work out of a shop in Southeast Portland; they're slowly rolling out their line with the aim of "producing simple refined objects that have an emphasis on utilitarian needs, while simultaneously looking really great."
N.B. To see the trio's work, stop by our upcoming market this Saturday, June 4; for information, go to Remodelista Local Market In Portland, Oregon.
