Kitchen of the Week: The Ideal French Rental Kitchen

May 16, 2024

The Platonic ideal of a French country house? That would be A Design Couple’s Soulful, Rustic Holiday Home in Duras, France, which Fan profiled a few years back (and which I’ve returned to—for important armchair traveling purposes—on more than one occasion).

Today we’re taking a closer look at the kitchen, done by author designer Karen McCartney and her husband, stylist David Harrison—ready for spring dinners, indoors or out.
