All of us at Remodelista have had our eye on Le Bouton for a while now, a clothing line from Maine-based Lisa Dorr, whose designs feature fine fabrics and simple silhouettes.
"I'm interested in making clothes that convey a sense of honest beauty, a creativity, a curiosity for life, an intelligence, and an appreciation for fine human endeavor," Dorr says. "I'm inspired by art, nature, cinema, history, designers, and the textiles I fall in love with." Dorr's made-to-order pieces are available from Le Bouton Unique on Etsy and from Chellis Wilson in Portland.
