On our watchlist: a new line of Flower Chapter rugs from Cappelyn Demir, a creative collective based in Copenhagen. “We’re passionate about creating contemporary artisanal rugs and tapestries in natural fibers, handmade by specialists in India using traditional techniques,” the founders say.
The collection draws inspiration from two sources: ancient Scandinavian tulip-patterns, which traditionally adorn everything from porcelain to carpets and curtains. A second line adds a dash of French allure via the French lily.
