Launched in Copenhagen in 2019 with three core chairs: the Soft Chair by Thomas Bentzen, the Tool Chair by Rasmus Palmgren, and the Cross Chair by Pearson Lloyd, Danish furniture brand Takt has since introduced more pieces, including chairs, tables, a coat rack, and, more recently, the flatpack Spoke  Sofa.

“We sell online and direct to the consumer, saving on shipping costs and cutting out wholesalers and retailers,” according to Takt. “The customer has access to a superior quality product without compromising on affordability or sacrificing ethics.”

About: The Spoke Sofa, designed by Anderssen & Voll, references classic Danish furniture, but is also inspired by contemporary Japanese aesthetics. Prices start at € 2,199.
