Fabrics & Linens: Kontex Towels from Japan

September 1, 2011

We first discovered the charms of lightweight cotton Imabari towels on a visit to Los Angeles (see Fabrics & Linens: Yoshii Chambray Towels from Japan). Our latest obsession is Imabari's new line of handwoven organic cotton Kontex Towels, made with traditional weaving techniques. The towels are available in natural ivory with stripes of blue, maroon, brown, lavender, or pink stripes; prices range from $11.60 to $64, depending on size.
