A new woodsy—yet summery—print from Borderline Fabrics in the UK: Sapling, a black-on-natural design, printed on 100 percent linen.

Founded by Sally Baring and her husband, John, in 1995, Borderline recreates designs by past pattern luminaries such as Enid Marx, Florence Broadhurst, E. Q. Nicholson, and Cressida Bell (see Fabrics & Linens: Borderline Fabrics). In the US, Lucy Rose Design in Chicago carries the line; go to Lucy Rose for information.
