To be filed under the “so weird it’s cool” category: Verre le Passé glass lamps by French designer Hervé Matejewski of Mat & Jewski. Each lamp is an assemblage made from found vintage glass vessels—an Eiffel Tower, a poodle, teacups, all things you’d expect to find in a great aunt’s cellar. Deconstructed and refitted, the table and pendant lights have a covered twisted cord and each one is unique. Contact Mat & Jewski directly for ordering information.
