Domestic Science: Tom Harper Cleaning Tools

Edinburgh-based industrial designer Tom Harper conceived of his Keeping Up Appearances line as a graduate project at the Edinburgh College of Art to "explore the overlooked potential in utilitarian objects, merging craft with contemporary manufacturing process." Harper—who interned at Established & Sons during his studies—worked with small industrial producers, exploring traditional methods of metal spinning and wire bending. Harper is currently working on production versions of the Keeping Up Appearances range, which he plans to offer for sale. Contact Harper directly for ordering information.
