I'm always striving to re-create the look of a Giorgio Morandi still life, Italian poet of biscuit tins and simple crockery in my own house (with varying success). Australian potter Gwyn Hanssen Pigott is the true interpreter of the Morandi mystique; to see her work, go to Rex Irwin.
