Things we’re noting lately: winter exhibits in London, a new place to stay in Warsaw, and more.
- Now at the New Craftsmen in London: “British Craft: The Miami Edit,” through February 21 at 34 North Row, London, featuring the work of UK ceramic artist Sue Paraskeva. (Catch her later in the month at “Circle of Porcelain,” an artful new exhibit that is part of Collect Open at the Saatchi Gallery, King’s Road, February 22–25.)
- Thinking ahead to Valentine’s Day: Mill Valley, California, floral designer Rito-ito will have a pop-up flower shop at Erica Tanov at the Marin Country Mart on February 14 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Small space? See this genius (and inexpensive) DIY drying rack.
- Annie is inspired to tackle some small apartment improvements, starting with covering up two unsightly light fixtures (thanks to a tip from C. S. Valentin) and sleuthing out marble scraps (as these two young designers did).
- Over on Gardenista: a sculptural take on dried flowers, seedpods, and branches.
- Save the date: Margot will be at Good in Boston on February 15 to talk about our new book, Remodelista: The Organized Home—simple storage tips included. Stay tuned for more info.
