We like the unlikely story of Pernille Stoltz, who runs her home furnishings empire from Bornholm, a tiny island off the coast of Denmark. Stoltz started the company in 1995 with her husband, Peter; the couple now sells their wares all over Europe and, during the summer, from their shop in Svaneke.
To see the line, go to Madam Stoltz.
