Color Therapy: Handmade Lampshades from Nottingham

October 1, 2013

British graphic designers Ollie Wood and Joff Casciani recently launched Lane, a line of products inspired by their collection of graphics from around the world and designed for your home. We especially like their Twin Tone Lampshades, made from paper sourced from James Cropper–one of the oldest mills in the UK–and hand pulled by craftsmen in Nottingham.

Above: Lane’s Twin Tone Lampshades are made with two sheets of heavyweight paper that are bonded together to show one color on the inside and another on the outside; £65 each from Lane.
