Coffee & Tea: Stainless Steel Espresso Makers

My British architect friend Helen recently built a carbon-neutral house and duly installed an induction cooktop (see today’s post Appliances: Viking Induction Cooktop and Range). It took some major sleuthing on her part to find a stainless steel replacement for her aluminium Bialetti-style espresso maker, and the Stellar Hob Top proved a great find. In the US, the Maillard stovetop is my favorite. An added benefit: Unlike their aluminum counterparts, stainless steel pots can be placed in the dishwasher.
