Our favorite all-time tub is from Aston Matthews: the Tivoli cast-iron bath on white oak sleepers; £1,173.83 at astonmatthews.co.uk. The company ships all over the world, but avoid freight costs by sourcing a cast iron tub locally; then paint the exterior with a Farrow & Ball oil eggshell (view colors at farrowandball.com), and call on a carpenter to fashion white oak block supports.
