Summer Backdrop: Wall Coverings from Hand-Painted (and -Drawn and -Stitched) Designs

This just in: Paint co. Backdrop (which we first reported on shortly after they came on the scene; see Trend Alert: 3 New Direct-to-Consumer Companies Shaking Up the Paint Industry) is expanding to other, well, backdrops. Most recently? A collection of patterned wall coverings, designed (by hand) in the company’s DTLA studio and printed in Brooklyn.

Have a look at a few we like for an instant injection of color (also available via Backdrop’s new (ish) parent co., Schumacher).

It’s designed from hand-done chain-stitch embroidery and available in rosy Poppy, Clean Blue, and Bright Yellow (shown).
