Yale School of Architecture–educated, Brooklyn-based architect Clay Miller has worked with Maya Lin and was at the Polshek Partnership before founding Bergen Street Studio. We love the way he used mushroom wood (available in unusually long lengths of 12 to 16 feet) for this paneled wall in an upstate New York house. The wood is available at Hudson Valley–based Antique and Vintage Woods of America; see more of Miller's work at Bergen Street Studio.
