A couple of weeks ago, Sarah and I stopped in at Dosa 818, designer Christina Kim’s serene, temple-like space in the Wurlitzer Building in LA’s gritty garment district. Among the many details we admired: Kim’s collection of tumbleweeds from Joshua Tree, which she displays atop a row of handmade cabinets. For those of us not living in tumbleweed country, the Prairie Tumbleweed Farm in Kansas ships worldwide (they have a following in Japan).

Above: Tumbleweeds can be ordered online from the Prairie Tumbleweed Farm in Kansas in three sizes: small tumbleweeds (12 inches) are $15, medium (14 to 20 inches) are $20, and large (20 inches in diameter) are $25.
