Portland, OR, artist Heather Frazier handmakes paper mobiles, garlands, wall hangings, and other three-dimensional works with a modern and poetic sensibility. For her paper mobiles, she uses a variety of shapes such as circles, hexagons, and flowers die-cut from card stock paper, carefully strung on a strong, clear thread and suspended from a thin acrylic disc. She will also create custom pieces incorporating "beads, semi-precious stones, wood, vintage, and found objects." Prices start at $75; view her current offerings at Frazier & Wing.
