A Design-Worthy Pendant for Low-Energy Light Bulbs

Finally: A design-worthy light specifically created to be used with low-energy light bulbs.

Danish industrial designer Ceclie Manz, maker of the celebrated Caravaggio pendant light (I have one in my dining room), has just come up with a simple pendant for low-energy bulbs; the pendant is capped with a flat translucent acrylic top, which allows for additional illumination.

Above: Made from lacquered aluminum, the Mingus Pendant Light comes in six colors and is available in two sizes: €235 for a small and €410 for a large at the Finnish Design Shop.
