On a recent trip to London, I felt like a typical American tourist (and design nerd) each time I came across a kitchen or bath faucet. In particular, it was the pillar taps that got me excited: the super basic, inexpensive hot/cold faucets you might find at an average hardware store in the UK. For those of us stateside, you can source a pair of traditional taps abroad (or online) for around £150 to £300 and beat the price of any English-inspired design in the US. Here are our favorites.
