In the world of bath fixtures, there are generally two schools of thought: traditional or modern. You either have a Victorian-era clawfoot cast iron bathtub or a very squared-off sink with ultra-modern tapware and so forth. While most spaces stick strictly to one side or the other, we’re pleasantly surprised whenever we see the two worlds colliding. Take, for example, pedestal sinks. If you like the look, you’re often relegated to the traditional set. The pedestal sink, like a Grecian column, is inherently traditional. But there are a few that err on the side of modern, with updated proportions and cleaned-up edges. Here are our 10 favorite modern pedestal sinks.
