Educated and trained as architects and designers, StudioSC is a small creative driven team that works collaboratively on all of our commissions. Our focus is on ground up residential and commercial development, adaptive re-use, and extensive interior renovations amongst other design challenges that are brought our way.
We breathe new life to old buildings for our adaptive re-use projects, while respecting their context and character. We give a sense of scale and proportion to larger ground up developments, applying a rigid thought about how materials and light can affect both the exterior experience and interior environments. We listen closely to our clients and push our creative limits on interior renovations, keeping within budgets and exceeding expectations. We are a client focused design studio.

On an architecturally unique block in Williamsburg Brooklyn, STUDIOSC was commissioned for the design of a ground up 4 story townhouse. Taking its cues from the intersecting views and existing context the facade presents a strong presence upon approach. Clean interiors throughout all the floors allow for a seamless programming of the home as well as moments of bold statements, such as the master bathroom brick screen, elegant kitchen opening to a well-appointed yard, and the dramatic 2nd floor balcony space that seamlessly integrates interior and exterior.
South 5th Street was conceived to be more than just a boutique luxury residential project. From its inception, a real consideration to quality of life and craft was established. The project is our first Passive Haus endeavor, utilizing some of the most energy efficient technology and materials to minimize the overall energy footprint of the building while fostering wellness inside. Attention to detail was an integral part of the concept, tapping local artisans and craftspeople to help create a handmade luxury that can be felt. The building consists of Four boutique apartments in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.
