Services Offered
Mabbott Seidel Architecture is a design practice that provides full architectural, project management, and interior design services. We specialize in creating finely detailed residences, including the design and fabrication of custom millwork and furniture. Our projects include new construction and adaptive reuse within New York City, Long Island, and elsewhere. We strongly believe that the genesis of a successful project is in the close interaction of client and architect during the design process and is realized in partnership with the team of craftspeople MS-A has fostered over many successful years.
Mabbott Seidel Build, our licensed and insured general contracting company, provides full construction management services. Our services include the daily management of the site, including coordinating all trades, purchases, scheduling and open book accounting of all expenses. Our subcontractors provide mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems throughout as well as paint, plaster, tile and millwork. Because of our comprehensive involvement from early design through construction, we are able to respond nimbly to site specific decisions and coordinate complex staging, scheduling, and building access.

Furniture and Millwork
Prior to becoming an architect, MS-A partner David Mabbott was a successful furniture maker and designer. We bring his expertise and our relationships with local craftspeople to bear on the design of custom beds, dressers, desks and other pieces for our clients.
MS-A designs and fabricates all types of millwork, from fully customized kitchens and presentation cabinetry, to bathroom vanities. We bring the same attention to details, materials and finishes of built-in millwork as we do to the interior design and architecture. We employ oiled teak, painted lacquer, custom turned finger pulls, and integrated lighting to create signature millwork pieces.
