Juniper I

Juniper I embodies an art-infused design maximizing light, space, and connectivity to nature. Featuring cutting-edge building and mechanical systems, this prefabricated home champions sustainable living. The 500 square-foot model in our modern style, offers a harmonious blend of kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bath with emphasis placed on selecting natural, sustainable, and low-maintenance materials.

In 2024, Juniper I was merited an AIA Maine Honor Award for Excellence in Architecture in the Small Projects Category as well as the recipient of the People’s Choice Award for Residential Design.

Cozy Bear

Set on the grounds of a former YMCA camp, our clients desired a comfortable home with Scandinavian influences to serve as a warm, central gathering space for the family. Our design team crafted a series of three single-level forms, incorporating interior elements inspired by the surrounding natural landscape. Construction was carefully executed to minimize site disturbance, and the landscaping was kept to a minimum. The result is a serene lakeside retreat nestled under a canopy of trees, offering a harmonious connection to its environment.

Hunting Island

As a 100-year-old structure, this home on Hunting Island is both never-changing—with its long history and pristine natural setting—and as ever-changing as the tides, the play of light, and even the brutality of Maine weather constantly impact the main house and new bunkhouse and their surroundings.  Our team converted this rustic hunting lodge into a liveable space on a rock-strewn acre in the ocean, giving it all the amenities desired for modern-day living, yet preserving the worlds-away character of island life.
