A self taught designer who inherited her grandmother’s skilled eye and sense of style.
Jan Eleni Lemonedes was born and raised in NYC.
In the 90’s Jan expressed herself thru a small retail shop in Manhattan’s East Village.
It was there that she grabbed the attention of editors, stylists and a celebrity clientele.
In 2000, ABC Carpet and Home recruited Jan as Creative Projects Manager, based on her visual and crurating sensibility.
In 2004 Jan began her own design business and became an innovator of children’s spaces and decor.
Her philosophy hinged on collaborating with each child while nuturing their imagination.
Jan Eleni Interiors works closely with their clients, including architects and editors.
Jan Eleni’s style is a mixture of patience, collaboration and the extra effort to find a special piece that pulls the visual thread together.
Jan Eleni is currently working on a Brownstone project in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn.
Jan splits her time between NYC and Trancoso, Brazil.
