Kensington Apartment, London

We were tasked with bringing together the decorative elements of this Kensington Apartment. Our client was keen to achieve a light and airy feel throughout for which we have used a gentle and elegant colour palette, giving the space an air of quiet sophistication allowing her wonderful and eclectic art collection to really shine.

Soft pinks and greens form the basis of these room schemes creating a peaceful and calming atmosphere.

Kensington Apartment, London

In this bedroom we opted for an understated, gentle pattern on the walls paired with Pierre Frey’s pretty, wavy stripe floral fabric for the curtains. Soft sheers at all the windows in the apartment allowed for diffused natural light whilst offering privacy from nearby neighbours.

A London blind in the hallway adds a bit of ‘flounce’ to an otherwise pared back hallway (left). A classic and elegant pairing of cream and blues for the double sitting room (right and main image).

Georgian House, Yorkshire

This was a particularly interesting project giving us full rein to go to town on swags and tails, beautifully elaborate bed designs and some wonderful ornate fabrics – all in keeping with the neo-Georgian house lovingly built from the ground up by the current owners.

Georgian House, Yorkshire

The beautiful Georgian windows allowed us to flex our decorative muscles with ornate pelmets both hard and soft, gathered, pleated and swagged, as you can see throughout these pictures.

Georgian House, Yorkshire

We take great care with pattern placement in our window treatments and indeed with all items we produce. The pelmet in this bedroom shows the pleasing result of our endeavours (left).

Not all beds are born great (we’re looking at you four posters). Some have greatness thrust upon them by us. Adding a corona or half tester to an otherwise unremarkable bed can really create a huge impact and is a fantastic way of adding a little grandeur to the room (right).

Mansion House Apartment, London

Taking this mansion block apartment back to its bare bones gave our clients carte blanche to create their perfect haven. A restrained palette of neutrals and blues, together with natural wood tones makes for a gentle, liveable space. Much thought and attention went into the fitted joinery, allowing some of the rooms to double up as work spaces in a way that does not detract from their aesthetic appeal.

bedroom with striped wallpaper 35

Stripes are always a good idea. A perennial classic with a youthful, almost naive quality and at the same time eternally chic.
