Ben Pentreath & Associates is a small, busy architectural practice based in central London. Founded by Ben Pentreath in 2004, the office specialises in traditional architectural design and planning, presenting a particular interest in large-scale residential housing projects and have worked on major sites owned by The Duchy of Cornwall, English Partnerships, and BP. The practice is interested in demonstrating that modern, sustainable design can be seamlessly incorporated within traditional architecture.
The new Decoration Studio opened in 2012. Currently working on a number of significant projects including the redecoration of a Regency Castle in the Moray Firth, the decoration of a new house in South Wales, the redecoration of a large 19th century townhouse in Bloomsbury, and work on a number of the private houses that are being designed in the architecture studio.
Ben Pentreath Ltd is rapidly becoming known as a destination for interesting good things for the home. Based in a tiny Victorian shopfront on Rugby Street, in the heart of London’s Bloomsbury, stocking a carefully chosen range of new products and an ever-changing variety of antiques and unusual presents.
