The existing house was all but demolished except for the front façade, the basement level was lowered and roof line raised to add a new floor. All internal joinery, new and reclaimed, was custom designed by AND.

The existing house was all but demolished except for the front façade, the basement level was lowered and roof line raised to add a new floor. All internal joinery, new and reclaimed, was custom designed by AND.
The design brief sought to create a simple, crafted and rugged country retreat that was at once comfortable and welcoming.
AND were lead designers for interiors & branding at ‘Posnania’, the new retail and leisure mall complex in Poznań, Poland.
AND designed a complete range of bespoke furniture for the Burberry global HQ in London Horseferry, and New York offices on Madison Avenue.
The primary objective was to bring maximum light into the house whilst opening up spaces, creating views across and between floors for a modern and family friendly home.
This Victorian Italianate house was updated throughout from new roof to basement rooms, complete decoration and custom designed kitchen and library, all respecting the building’s characterful details.
The brief was to maximise the open plan living spaces throughout. The home’s interior was completely demolished save for windows in the front facade.
