Kriste Michelini Interiors creates beautiful and inspiring spaces that reflect the individual aesthetics and lifestyles of every one of her clients. The award-winning interior design firm is known for its classic, contemporary interiors that are both well-edited and timeless.

Prior to establishing her design studio in the San Francisco area in 2002, Kriste spent over ten years in the business world, first in the software industry and then in commercial real-estate. With her extensive business background, she brings strong project management skills to every task. Her streamlined approach, featuring a keen understanding of timelines, deliverables and budgets, has been a benchmark of her success.

Michelini has earned numerous accolades from the press and the design community, including being named one of Traditional Home’s 2014 “New Trads,” a group of emerging designers redefining the traditional landscape. The studio has been honoured with the Houzz 2018 “Best of Design” and “Best of Customer Service” awards. Her work has also been featured by California Home + Design, Traditional Home, Lonny, Rue, Remodelista, and more.

Kriste finds that listening to her clients’ needs and collaborating with them at every step is the foundation for long-lasting, successful relationships. As a wife and mother of three, she has developed a skilled approach to designing for both functionality and beauty. Kriste is a UCLA graduate and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
