A replica woven at Melin Teifi, the mill of the National Woollen Museum of Wales, based upon an example from the 19th century Cilcennin Mill, part of a 60 acre small holding rented from the Ty Mawr estate. The stripes on this blanket match as closely as possible the colours produced by the vegetable and analine dyes used at that time.
