Traditional and beautiful washing up whisks, either with a single red winding, or double natural buff. Made of rice root, which isn't rice at all but the root of a grass called zatacon, native to the arid Mexican highlands. These are very stiff, being effectively a scouring brush. From Iris Hantverk in Sweden, where visually impaired craftsmen produce beautiful handmade brushes.
