Vintage Comforter Duvet cover organic linen red stripes
This textile is a lovely, hand-woven, Vintage European matress cover! This textile dates from the early 1900's. This textile is simply amazing! The fabric is a twill weave cotton mix, and the stripes are a glorious true red. This textile was once stuffed with straw and used as a matress cover. Today they can be used as duvet covers~ This cover is wonderfully soft, and very easy to just insert a feather duvet for the bed. It is made by hand stitching 2 panels on each side ( like a large sack) and the sides are all hand stitched also. They also make lovely soft landings for living rooms, play rooms etc.
